Prep for the Taste Test
What You’ll Need
- A way to boil water (e.g. a kettle)
- 4 coffee cups of the same size
- Hot water measuring cup or scale
- Spoon
- 32 or 64 oz of distilled water
- Your tasting scoresheet
Instructions:
For tastings of 1-2 people, we recommend melting one capsule of each coffee and saving the rest to enjoy later. For larger groups, melt both capsules.
- 30 minutes before the tasting, take your kit of Cometeer capsules out of the freezer.
- Heat 32 oz of distilled water to 200ºF just prior to the event (use 64 oz if using all capsules.)
- Set out four serving cups, which should each hold 10-20 oz of coffee.
- On October 21st at 1pm EST / 10am PST, join the livestream at cometeer.com/taste to taste with James. We will send a survey link to submit your results after the tasting.
